"Enjoy Your pool ... Enjoy Your Life"
pH is a measure of how acidic (low pH) or how basic/alkaline (high pH) your water is. Based on a scale of 0 to 14, the acceptable pH range is between 7.2 and 7.6. pH is the most important factor in balancing your water.
The ideal range is between 7.2 - 7.6
Low pH
If the pH of the water drifts to the acidic side, corrosion of pool surfaces and equipment can occur.
High pH
If the pH of the water drifts to high on the base side, scaling, deposits, and cloudy water can occur.
The pH of the pool should be tested and adjusted, if necessary, on a weekly basis.
To Adjust pH up or down add a pH increaser or decreaser to the pool. Always follow the directions provided on the label for the proper amount to add based on the pool size and test results.
